Since September 2013, Nishikawa's AiR Performance Mattresses are standard in the first class cabins of ANA's international flights.
Our functional mattress, the fruit of our cutting-edge sleep technologies, has been selected for the first class cabin of ANA (All Nippon Airways) international flights between Japan, the United States, and Europe(Some B777-300ER aircraft). The fact that many prominent athletes use AiR's performance sleep technology-enabled mattresses on their overseas expeditions garnered enough praise in the quality for ANA to select our AiR Performance Mattresses for its flights.
Nishikawa's distinctive three-dimensional structure disperses pressure from the body's weight and holds ideal sleep posture all night long, even when turning over. This enables ANA to offer a quality sleep to its first class cabin passengers, making the long international flights more comfortable. You can enjoy first class sleep with AiR Performance Mattresses on ANA's international flights.
Nishikawa's AiR Performance Mattresses have been adopted for the first floor lounge daybeds in the new research building of the University of Tsukuba, International Institute for Integrative Sleep Medicine (WPI-IIIS)
The International Institute for Integrative Sleep Medicine (WPI-IIIS) is a world-leading research center that focuses on basic sleep research as well as promotes integrated sleep medicine with multidisciplinary approaches. Top-level researchers in Japan and from overseas gather here to solve the mysteries of sleep. Dr. Masashi Yanagisawa, who discovered a protein "Orexin" in the brain that controls sleep and wakefulness, brought this new development to the forefront of sleep science as the Center Director of WPI-IIIS.
